It was a night full of bumps, sets, and serious battles as the Wednesday Beginner Volleyball league wrapped up with a high-energy playoff showdown!
In the semis, #1 seed Golden Receivers took on #4 seed Hits 'n Gigs and made quick work of it, pulling off a solid 2-0 win without needing a third set.
Up next, #2 seed Gold Diggers faced a fired-up #3 seed Ball Slappers in a nail-biter of a match. After trading points and diving all over the court, Gold Diggers pulled off the 2-1 win to punch their ticket to the finals.
That set up a battle between the top two teams — Golden Receivers vs. Gold Diggers — and the energy didn’t disappoint! While Golden Receivers brought stellar defense and some incredible saves, Gold Diggers' powerful hitting and smart playmaking sealed the deal with a 2-0 victory.
