“Pippen Aint EZ” are the Thursday Rec Basketball Champions of the Spring ‘24 after defeating “Landlords” 2-0!
It was the playoffs for Thursday Basketball last night and it did not disappoint! “Pippen Aint EZ” and “Landlords’” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! The championship started off with “Pippen Aint EZ” scoring the first point of the match. “Landlords” came right back and immediately made a three pointer to tie it up, but “Pippen Aint EZ” kept making three after three and won the first game 21-14. After losing the first game, “Landlords” turned up the heat and kept it competitive all the way until the end. It looked like “Landlords” was going to easily win the game but “Pippen Aint EZ” weren't going down without a fight. “Pippen Aint EZ” caught fire towards the end of game two and won 21-19. “Pippen Aint EZ” started to play smart basketball halfway through the second match and made every shot they took. “Landlords” played their hearts out and applied a lot of pressure to “Pippen Aint EZ” defense, but “Pippen Aint EZ” proved that they’re still the team to beat in our Thursday Rec Basketball league!
