“Pitches Get Stitches” are the Sunday Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘24 season, after defeating “Sunday Scaries” 7-1!

"Pitches Get Stitches" entered the playoffs as one of the heavy favorites to take home the title. Their offense was the main reason they finished as one of the top teams in their division but their real MVP during the championship was their defense. “Pitches Get Stitches” came out in the first inning and kicked the ball like professional players. It looked like “Pitches Get Stitches” offense was going to be unstoppable but “Sunday Scaries” made a couple miraculous plays on defense to hold off their hot start to the championship. “Pitches Get Stitches” also played lock down defense all game long and only allowed “Sunday Scaries” to score one run the entire game. It was a defensive battle for most of the championship but “Pitches Get Stitches” were able to score four more runs in the last inning to take a commanding lead. “Sunday Scaries” played their hearts out but “Pitches Get Stitches” offense proved to be too strong and won the championship 7-1!
