“The Randoms” are the Monday Basketball Champions of the Summer ‘23 after defeating “Old Gunners” 2-0!
It was the playoffs for Monday Basketball last night, and it did not disappoint! “The Randoms” and “Old Gunners’” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! The championship started off with “Old Gunners” scoring the first point of the match. “The Randoms” came right back and immediately made a jump shot to tie it up, but “The Randoms” kept making shot after shot and won the first game 21-17. After losing the first game, “Old Gunners” turned up the heat and kept it competitive all the way until the end. It looked like “Old Gunners” were going to easily win the game but “The Randoms” weren't going down without a fight. “The Randoms” caught fire towards the end of game two and won 21-19. “The Randoms” started to play smart basketball halfway through the second match and made every shot they took. “Old Gunners” played their hearts out and applied a lot of pressure to “The Randoms” defense, but “The Randoms” proved that they’re still the team to beat in our Monday Basketball league!
