"Team Iceland" is our Friday soccer champion, defeating "White Dragons" by the score of 3-1 in the league final. Previously the two had played to a 5-5 draw, but this time "Team Iceland" was able to take their game up to another level defensively, holding "White Dragons" to just a single goal. The win keeps their undefeated record intact for the season, finishing with a 7-0-1 record.
It was business as usual for "Team Iceland" throughout the season, often taking out their opponents with ease. Offensively they were churning on all cylinders and ranked as the top offensive team this season, scoring at least 4 goals in each game until the championship game. Even there they were able to pick up 3 goals against a high quality opponent. In all they averaged 4.8 goals per game.
Congratulations to "Team Iceland" on another fantastic season, and we wish them the best moving forward!
