t’s-a Win! Mario’s Super Strikers Take the Title!

In an epic clash of wills, the final match unfolded as a thrilling rollercoaster of emotions, a true test of grit and determination. The scoreboard stood at 0-0 as the first half drew to a close, tension building with every tick of the clock. Then, with only 20 seconds left, disaster struck for Crew FC. A routine throw-in turned catastrophic as a miscalculation from their defender played the ball straight into the center of the field. Seizing the opportunity like a predator sensing its prey, the forward from Mario's Super Strikers pounced on the mistake, dribbling past the defense and slotting the ball into the net to score the first goal of the match, sending their fans into a frenzy.

As the second half kicked off, the tension was palpable. Within just a minute, Crew FC’s defense faltered again, this time gifting Mario's Super Strikers with another golden opportunity. The ball was sent downfield, and in a flash, Mario’s Super Strikers capitalized once more, doubling their lead to 2-0. But Crew FC wasn’t done yet.

Refusing to go down without a fight, Crew FC mounted a counterattack, breaking away on a swift run that saw them score a stunning goal, bringing the game to 2-1. The crowd roared in support, but Mario’s Super Strikers quickly silenced them. With their own breakaway, they responded immediately, slamming home a third goal and pushing the score to 3-1.

Yet, Crew FC’s resolve was unyielding. They rallied once more, sending a ball into the center. In a moment of desperation, the Mario’s Super Strikers defender, stretched to his limits, instinctively used his arm to stop the ball from advancing, committing a clear handball. The referee pointed to the spot, and Crew FC was awarded a penalty kick. With nerves of steel, they converted, narrowing the gap to 3-2.

Time was running out, and it seemed like the game was slipping away from Crew FC. But in a final, desperate push, with only seconds remaining on the clock, Crew FC launched one last assault. The forward, with determination written all over his face, broke through the defense and smashed the ball into the net just as the buzzer sounded, tying the game at 3-3.

The match went to penalties. The tension was unbearable as the players lined up. Mario’s Super Strikers stepped up first, and their composure under pressure proved unmatched, converting four out of four penalty kicks. Crew FC, despite their valiant efforts, could only score three. The whistle blew, and Mario's Super Strikers emerged victorious, claiming a hard-fought 4-3 win in the penalty shootout.

An unforgettable game, where mistakes and miracles intertwined, heroes rose, and champions were made in the most dramatic of fashions. A true testament to the beautiful chaos of the game!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
