“Cucumberball” are the Tuesday Beginner Pickleball Champions of the Fall ‘24 Season, after defeating “Slam Dink” 2-0!
It was the playoffs for Tuesday Pickleballl last night and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Cucumberball” and “Slam Dink” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Cucumberball” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship after winning 11-4. It looked like “Cucumberball” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game but “Slam Dink” had other ideas for game two. “Slam Dink” changed up their game plan and was able to keep the match competitive all the way until the end with their amazing teamwork! “Slam Dink” was up 10-9 and only needed one more point to force a third and final game, but “Cucumberball” was able to come right back and score a point of their own. It was tied up between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the last few points of the game. “Cucumberball” found a groove late in the second game with impressive serves and rallies. They ended up winning the second game and became the champions of Tuesday Beginner Pickleball!

It was the playoffs for Pickleballl last night and it did not disappoint! “Kind of a Big Dill” and “Undrafted” were the last two teams remaining in the playoffs and everyone was excited to see who would take home the title for our Tuesday Intermediate Pickleball league! “Kind of a Big Dill” came out determined to win the first game and that’s exactly what they did. “Kind of a Big Dill” dominated the first game and won 11-2. “Undrafted” played their hearts out in both of their games but “Kind of a Big Dill” was just too hot to handle. “Kind of a Big Dill” won the championship 2-0 with their amazing teamwork, impressive serves and incredible knowledge in the kitchen!
