“Balls Deep” are the Flag Football Champions of the Fall ‘24 Season, after defeating “Two Point Conversion Therapy” 5-3!
“Balls Deep” entered the finals as the #1 seed and one of the favorites to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished the season as one of the top teams in the league but the real MVP during the championship was their defense. It was a close game from start to finish and no one knew who was going to be crowned the champions of Flag Football. “Balls Deep” started the finals on fire and scored the first touchdown of the game but “Two Point Conversion Therapy” came right back and tied it up 1-1. It looked like the first half was going to finish as a tie, until “Balls Deep” scored an impressive touchdown right before the end of the first half to take a 2-1 lead. Both teams played lock down defense for most of the game and kept it close but everything changed in the second half. “Two Point Conversion Therapy” came out determined on the offensive end and scored a quick touchdown to tie it up. “Two Point Conversion Therapy” had all the momentum at the beginning of the second half and their offense was firing on all cylinders. It didn’t look good for “Balls Deep”, but they were confident in their abilities and embraced the challenge. They changed up their plan on offense and scored two touchdowns to take a commanding lead with only a few minutes left in the game. “Two Point Conversion Therapy” played their hearts out but “Balls Deep” could not be stopped. “Two Point Conversion Therapy” was able to score one more time and apply some pressure to “Balls Deep” but nothing could slow “Balls Deep” down. The championship was close for most of the game but “Balls Deep'' ran away with it at the end and ended up winning the championship 5-3!
