“Digger is Better” are the Monday Sand Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘24 Season, after defeating “Return to Sender” 2-0!
“Digger is Better” entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the Championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Return to Sender” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Digger is Better” were able to come together and force “Return to Sender” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-12. “Digger is Better” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Return to Sender” played their hearts out, but “Digger is Better’s” hard hits and scrappy play style was too much for them to handle. “Digger is Better” went on to win the second match 21-13 and became the champions of Monday Sand Volleyball!
