“Old Fashion” are the Monday Pickleball Champions of the Late Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “Centurions of Light” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Monday Pickleballl last night and everyone was excited to see who would win it all! “Old Fashion” and “Centurions of Light” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament and no one knew who was going to walk away as the champions of Monday Pickleball! “Old Fashion” came out looking like they were playing in the US Open and dominated the first game taking an early lead in the championship. It looked like nothing could stop “Old Fashion” from being crowned the champions but “Centurions of Light” were not going down without a fight. “Centurions of Light” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with amazing returns and great teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final match. “Old Fashion” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves but “Centurions of Light” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Old Fashion” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match and became the champions of Monday Pickleball!
