Our Late Summer 2014 Tuesday Ultimate league wrapped up last night as the leagues top two teams entered play with identical 6 wins and 1 loss records. "Disky Business" held a 6 point advantage over "The Biggest Disc" in overall point differential throughout the season, and this advantage turned out to be the determining factor in crowning our champion.
The two teams split their regular season matches, each team handing the other their lone defeat of the season. In the final week of play both teams took care of business on the field, winning by the maximum allowable 10 points. As a result "Disky Business" maintained the 6 point lead in differential that they had going into the night and walked off the field as our champion, with a bar tab at Benny's and a $100 Southern Comfort tab awaiting them.
Congratulations to "Disky Business" and to all of the teams that competed in a great Ultimate season.
