“Spikeosaurus Rex” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘24 Season, after defeating “All Timers” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Sunday volleyball last night and it did not disappoint! After two hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Spikeosaurus Rex” and “All Timers” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Spikeosaurus Rex” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 23-21. It looked like “Spikeosaurus Rex” was going to be crowned the champions after the second set but “All Timers” had other ideas for game two. “All Timers” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second set 21-10 with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final set. “Spikeosaurus Rex” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “All Timers” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Spikeosaurus Rex” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-9 to become the champions of Thursday Volleyball!
