Our Fall 2014 Thursday Soccer league playoffs were held last night with the leagues top 4 teams vying to claim the championship.
The parity in the league was on display from the outset as the #1 seed Sheer Gold was ousted in the opening round by the #4 seed Team C by a score of 3-1. In the second semi-final, past champion and #2 seed Plan B proved too much to handle beating Off A Lot, our #3 seed by a 3-1 score.
That setup our final between Plan B and Team C. As expected it was a close, low scoring affair. Team C edged out Plan B as time expired, winning a hard fought 2-1 victory and enjoying the spoils of the Florez bar tab.
Congratulations to Team C and to all of the teams that competed in a great soccer season.
