Congratulations to “Story Time” on becoming the Downtown Kickball Champions!

"Story Time" clinched the Downtown Kickball Championship for the Spring '24 season, defeating "The Degenerates" 3-1!

"Story Time" entered the final week as the #1 seed, backed by a potent offense that had carried them to the top of the division. However, in the championship game, it was their defense that truly shined. "The Degenerates" came in with an underdog spirit and were determined to give "Story Time" a run for their money. Both teams were locked in a scoreless battle through the first two innings, with neither side able to break through the opposing defenses.

But in the third inning, "Story Time" found their groove. They executed a few clutch plays to bring in three runs, establishing a commanding lead. "The Degenerates" fought back and managed to score a run, but "Story Time's" defense held firm, preventing further damage.

Despite the relentless effort from "The Degenerates," they couldn't overcome "Story Time's" solid defense. The game remained a defensive duel, but "Story Time" proved they could adapt to any challenge. With their impenetrable defense and timely offense, they secured the championship with a final score of 3-1.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
