“Plan B” are the Tuesday Soccer Champions of the Fall ‘23 season, after defeating “Practice Squad” 2-1!
“Plan B” came into the playoffs as one of the favorites to take home the title. Their incredible offense is why they finished as one of the top teams in their division, but their impressive defense and amazing teamwork was the main reason they made it to the finals. The championship started off evenly matched with neither team being able to pull away from the other, but that all changed when “Plan B” scored an unbelievable goal midway through the first half and took the lead. “Practice Squad” kept applying pressure to “Plan B’s” defense, but “Plan B” stayed strong and did not allow them to score in the first half. The second half started off as a defensive battle but “Practice Squad” was able to score a goal of their own to tie it up. It looked like the championship was up for grabs, but “Plan B” turned up the heat and scored another goal to take a 2-1 lead. “Practice Squad” kept the game competitive all the way until the end, but “Plan B” was able to hold them off and won the championship 2-1!
