“Kind Of A Big Dill” are the Thursday Pickleball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “The Kitchen Boys” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Thursday Pickleballl last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Kind Of A Big Dill” and “The Kitchen Boys” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Kind Of A Big Dill” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “Kind Of A Big Dill” was going to be crowned the champion after the second game but “The Kitchen Boys” had other ideas for game two. “The Kitchen Boys” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with their amazing teamwork! It was all tied up after two games between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final match. “Kind Of A Big Dill” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves, but “The Kitchen Boys” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Kind Of A Big Dill” was able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match to become the champions of Thursday Pickleball!
