“The Real Dill” are the Monday Pickleball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “GRL PWR” 2-0!
It was the playoffs for Monday Pickleballl last night, and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “The Real Dill” and “GRL PWR” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament, and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “The Real Dill” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game of the match and took an early 1-0 lead in the championship. It looked like “The Real Dill” were going to be crowned the champions after the second game, but “GRL PWR” had other ideas for game two. “GRL PWR” changed up their game plan and were able to keep the match competitive all the way till the end with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the last few points of the game. “The Real Dill” were able to find a groove late in the second game and won the championship and became the champions of Monday Pickleball!
