“Tio Grande” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “Drinks at 5am” 2-0!
“Tio Grande” came into the playoffs as the #1 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Drinks at 5am” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Tio Grande” came out on fire in the first set and did not allow “Drinks at 5am” to get anything going. “Tio Grande” won the first game 21-17 because of their impressive serves and amazing team work. “Tio Grande” also took an early lead in the second match and they never looked back from there. “Tio Grande” won the second set 21-17 and became the champions of Thursday Volleyball by performing bump, set and spike to perfection!
