“ACE-INHIBITORS” are the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Late Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Blockfest Club” 2-1!
“ACE-INHIBITORS” came into the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the championship but they had to defeat a very formidable “Blockfest Club” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Blockfest Club” came out on fire in the first set and did not allow “ACE-INHIBITORS” to get anything going. “Blockfest Club” was able to win the first game 21-14, because of their impressive serves and amazing team work. It looked like “Blockfest Club” was going to win the championship easily but “ACE-INHIBITORS” did not go down without a fight. “ACE-INHIBITORS” came out of a timeout determined to win the second game. They performed bump, set and spike to perfection in the second match and they were able to win the second set 21-16. It all came down to the third and final game and no one knew who was going to take home the title. “ACE-INHIBITORS” took an early lead in the final match but “Blockfest Club” did not let them pull away. The third game was neck and neck all the way till the end, but “ACE-INHIBITORS” were able to finally pull away and win the final match 21-16!
