“Premarital Sets” are the Tuesday Volleyball Champions of the Late Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Sets on the Beach” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Tuesday volleyball last night and it did not disappoint! After two very hard fought semifinal matches, the championship was finally set. “Premarital Sets” and “Sets on the Beach” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament and no one knew who was going to take home the title! “Premarital Sets” jumped out of the gates on fire in the first game and won 21-15. It looked like “Premarital Sets” was going to be crowned the champions after the second game but “Sets on the Beach” had other ideas for game two. “Sets on the Beach” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game 21-19 with their amazing teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights and it all came down to the third and final game. “Premarital Sets” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves but “Sets on the Beach” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Premarital Sets” were able to find a groove late in the third game and won 21-12 to become the champions of Tuesday Volleyball!
