“Swish Kabobs” are the Thursday Basketball Champions after defeating “Tri Slama Jama” 2-1!
The championship started off with “Tri Slama Jama” scoring the first point of the match. “Swish Kabobs” came right back and immediately made a three pointer to tie it up, and then they took the lead with another made three pointer by Bailey. Both teams were looking like the warriors out there with all the threes they made. The championship game was very close and each game came down to the wire. “Swish Kabobs” made another impressive shot to take a 15-13 lead.The championship was tight and no one knew who was going to walk away as the champions Thursday basketball. Stark, one of the players from “Swish Kabobs”, made a clutch three pointer to take a commanding lead, but “Tri Slama Jama” came right back and made a three of their own to keep the game close. The score was 20-16 and “Swish Kabob” only needed one more basket to win the game. Stark made another incredible two pointer to end the game and with the championship for the “Swish Kabobs”!
