“Dad Bods & Broads” are the Downtown Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “Pitches Get Stitches” 6-2!
"Dad Bods & Broads" entered the playoffs as the #1 seed and the heavy favorite to win the Championship, but "Pitches Get Stitches" did not make it easy for them. Both teams displayed their amazing offensive talent all season long, so everyone was expecting a high scoring game. “Dad Bods & Broads” defeated “Pitches Get Stitches” in a very close game during the regular season, so “Pitches Get Stitches” were ready to exact their revenge.“Dad Bods & Broads” came out and scored a couple runs early in the championship, but “Pitches Get Stitches” defense kept it close for most of the game. “Dad Bods & Broads” were finally able to break the game wide open in the 4th inning by scoring a few more runs to take a commanding lead. “Pitches Get Stitches” put runners on the bases in the final inning, but "Dad Bods & Broads" impressive defense did not allow them to score. “Dad Bods & Broads” was able to hold on and win the championship!

“VTS” are the Midtown Kickball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “Suck My Kick” 6-5!
“VTS” entered the the playoffs as the #1 seed and as the favorite to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished at the top of their division, but their real MVP during the championship was their defense. The game started out very evenly matched but everything changed after the third inning. “VTS” offense started to fire on all cylinders, and it didn’t look like “Suck My Kick” would be able to stop them. “VTS” scored a couple runs in back to back innings to take the lead, but “Suck My Kick” came right back and tied it up. “Suck My Kick” almost completed a miraculous comeback, but “VTS” stayed strong on the defensive end and did not allow “Suck My Kick” to score another run!
