“Last Minute” are the Friday Intermediate/Advance Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘21 Season, after defeating “Seleção” 2-0!
“Last Minute” came into the playoffs as the #2 seed and as one of the favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Seleção” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set was a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Last Minute” was able to come together and force “Seleção” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-17. “Last Minute” continued their dominance into the second set, but “Seleção” was able to find their groove and made it a very competitive match. The second match was up for grabs, but “Last Minute’s” determination came through and they were able to go on a run and take a commanding lead. “Seleção” played their hearts out, but “Last Minute” could not be stopped. “Last Minute” was able to win the second set 21-17 and became the champions of Friday volleyball!
