"ACE Inhibitors" are the Intermediate Volleyball Champions for the Summer 21' Season, after defeating “Hits Don’t Lie” 2-0!
“ACE Inhibitors” entered the playoffs as #1 seed and the heavy favorites to make it to the championship. They displayed amazing teamwork and talent all season long, but “Purple Pain” was ready to take on the challenge and to show the world why they made it to the playoffs. The semi-finals were very evenly matched! “Purple Pain” played great in both of the games, but “ACE Inhibitors” didn’t skip a beat and went on to defeat “Purple Pain” 2-0 and advanced to the championship!
The finals were set and both teams were ready to see who would be crowned the champions of the Sunday volleyball league! The 1 seed,“ACE Inhibitors”, and the 2 seed, “Hits Don’t Lie”, faced off in a very competitive championship game. The first game was close at the beginning, but “ACE Inhibitors” found their groove and won 21-16. It was still anyone’s match, but “ACE Inhibitors” continued their great play into the second game. “Hits Don’t Lie” played their hearts out and made a late run, but “ACE Inhibitors” showed why they were favorites and won the second game 21-11 to claim the championship!
Congratulations to “ACE Inhibitors” on becoming the Sunday Intermediate Volleyball Champions and winners of $50 to Blue Cue! We look forward to seeing if they can go back-to-back champions next season!
