Team B Finish as Champs!

Last night showcased the top talent in our Tuesday night beginner sand volleyball league. With four teams vying for the chance to go home champions, the night shaped up for some epic rallies!

In our first round, the #1 seed, Sets on the Beach, faced off against the #4 Los Picnic Turtles. SotB came in with a 6-2 record, with one of those losses being against the Turtles in week 1. This time, SotB got revenge and, winning game 3 of the best of three match, moved on to the championship.

Our other semi-final match featured the #2 That's What She Set against #3 Team B. The two teams split their regular season series, with both teams beating the other 2-1. Last night, Team B outlasted That's What She Set, winning the match 2-1 in game three to face off with Sets on the Beach in the title game.

Having vanquished one of the two teams to beat them in the first round, Team B had an opportunity to defeat the only other team to beat them on the court, Sets on the Beach. In a match featuring some fantastic rallies, the two teams split the first two games, setting up a decisive final game for all the marbles. In the end, Team B finished on top, as our season Champs. Congrats!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
