"Black, Tie Optional" is our Monday bowling champion, taking down the "Slime Balls" in the league championship.
The "Slime Balls" were only able to muster 1 point in a dominant 13-1 win by our champs. It was about as one-sided as it gets for a title game. As we learned through the regular season though when "Black, Tie Optional" was running on full cylinders they were almost impossible to stop!
The season itself was a bit up and down for our champs though. They lost the first match of the season in a close 7-8 loss, then alternated wins and losses for the remainder of the season. However, all of their losses were close, so they were in each and every game. They also picked up a couple of big wins with scores of 10-5 and 13-1, helping boost them into the championship game.
