Pitches Don't Want None

"Pitches Be Crazy" is our Downtown Division champion, taking down an underdog in "Ballbusters" by the score of 5-4. As the #2 seed thanks to an incredible regular season, "Pitches Be Crazy" always expected to be in the final.

Throughout the season our champs racked up wins left and right. Their only loss came at the hands of to the top-ranked team "Buntin' Uglies" in the first game of the season. After that is it was all W's. A 7-7 tie late in the season to "Best Suggestion Wins" would set up a great first round match-up between the two. However, as champs do, "Pitches Be Crazy" rose to the occasion and dropped a 12 spot on their opponents, taking the 12-6 win.

Overall "Pitches Be Crazy" ends with an 8-1- record, topping the league. They also had the best run differential, ending with a +32. When their offense was on they were unstoppable, and in all they reached 7 runs or more in 7 different games.

Congratulations to them on an incredibly successful season, bringing home the hardware!

An Underdog Story

"Sit On My Base" is our Midtown Division champion, making their way to the top of the podium after being the lowest seeded playoff team.

As the #4 seed, "Sit On My Base" had the toughest route to a championship. They didn't let that get to them though, and instead took it one game at a time. That mindset paid off early too, defeating the top-ranked "Kickin Balls, Takin Names" by the score of 8-2.

in the championship game "Sit On My Base" took on "(Kick)ball is Lyfe", coming off a convincing 7-2 win of their own. This game ended up being much more of a grind, but eventually our champs would come out on top 2-1. The win is probably a bit of sweet revenge as well, especially after losing to them 3-0 earlier in the season.

In all "Sit On My Base" finished with a 6-2-2 record, including a +20 run differential. Most importantly though they end the season as champions, reminding everyone to never count out the underdog!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
