The "Brew-Tang Clan" is our Friday night softball champion, taking out both playoff opponents in blowout wins.
Their first win of the night came against the "A-Team" in a 12-2 route. It was a close game early, but an offensive explosion midway through the game blew it wide open. From there it was smooth sailing.
In the other half of the bracket "Pre's Swinger's Club" make their way to the championship after a thrilling comeback. Down 8-4 in the bottom of the 6th inning they proceeded to pick up 5 runs, ending the game with a walk-off. However, that would be all the excitement "Pre's Swinger's Club" would get.
These two teams had squared off just a week prior, with "Pre's Swinger's Club" defeating "Brew-Tang Clan" 17-7. This time things were much different though, and the top seeded "Brew-Tang Clan" entered the game on fire offensively after their 12-run semi-finals game. In the championship they would put up a whopping 18 runs, blowing "Pre's Swinger's Club" of the water early and keeping them at bay for the rest of the game. "Pre's Swinger's Club" was able to pick up a couple of late runs in the last inning to make the game look competitive, but in reality it was one-sided for most of the game.
Congratulations to the "Brew-Tang Clan" on the absolutely dominant night, knocking out both opponents by 10 runs. We wish them the best of luck next season!
