Overcoming Their Rival

"5 Jerks and a Squirt" is our Sunday Flag Football champion thanks to a 26-10 championship game win over "Team Aaaaaaaaaa!!!!!". Going into the game "5 Jerks and a Squirt" had lost their two previous match-ups to "Team Aaaaaaaaaa!!!!!" this season, making them the underdog. Our champs rose to the occasion though, handily defeating their rival in a great show of both offense and defense on their part.

Mostly seen as an offensive powerhouse, "5 Jerks and a Squirt" did have their struggles. Despite posting games of 46 and 39 points, they were shut out late in the season by "Team Aaaaaaaaaa!!!!!" in an eye-opening 20-0 loss. But, our champs used that as motivation to go undefeated the rest of the way. That includes the 26 point output against the same championship game opponent who shut them out just a few games before.

In the end it was a fantastic season for "5 Jerks and a Squirt", closing things out with a 5-2 record. Most importantly, they also end the season as champions. Congratulations to them on a successful campaign!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
