Always In Control

It was a great night of playoffs Friday evening! The competition was alive and fierce, and as the matches were played teams were eliminated. By the time we reached the final, two deserving teams were left vying for the title.

The championship game between "Cornication" and "Control Your Hole" drew a sizable crowd from both eliminated players and Benny's regulars as their game played out on the warm summer night. The two teams decided to choose what they considered their best players to play all five of the matches for them, leading to an incredible match. Throughout the game there were several tense moments that ended in cheers from the crowd or disappointed groans from their teammates.

Eventually it came down to a fifth and final game, with the scored deadlocked at 2-2. It was a close game, but "Control Your Hole" clinched the win with one last throw that resulted with a bag on the board. Thanks to their clutch performance, they were named champions! Nicely done to all those who made it into the playoffs, and congratulations to "Control Your Hole" on the win!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
