"Glove Love" Glides to Another Championship

"Glove Love" Is our Sunday Funday Softball League champion for a second straight season!

Once again they dominated the competition, going 5-1 in our Quickie six-week league. In fact, they had the championship locked up before heading into their final game of the season yesterday afternoon. That was thanks in part to winning their first five games of the season by a combined total of 59-13.

So, for the second time in as many leagues, "Glove Love" sits atop the podium as the best of the best. This season they were the only team in the league to post a positive run differential at +45. Second ended up at -3. And, aside from their final game of the season, they didn't allow more than five runs. All in all another dominant season by these seasoned veterans.

Congratulations to "Glove Love" on another great win. We hope to see them again in the spring to defend their title, and to see if they can make it three titles in a row!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
