"I'd Hit That" Nabs Championship

"I'd Hit That" is our Sunday Volleyball League champion after a great season on their part. Not only did they pick up the championship, they also had a very successful regular season going 7-1. Their only loss came against "The Regulators" in the final week of the regular season. If not for that close 2-1 loss, they'd have a perfect record!

On the plus side for our eventual champs, when it came playoff time "I'd Hit That" was all business. In their first game of the night they took on the #4 seed "Pretty in Fockin' Pink" and picked up a nice 2-1 win in a game that had to go to a third and final set. After that they awaited the winner of our other playoff matchup, where thankfully for them "Team D" beat "The Regulators" in straight sets 2-0. The win by "Team D" meant "I'd Hit That" didn't have to face the team they had lost to just the week before.

In the championship game "I'd Hit That" once again had to go to three sets to win, but win they did. It looked as though they peaked at just the right time with both their offense and defense looking great in their final few match of the season.

Congratulations to "I'd Hit That" on a very successful campaign and we look forward to seeing if they can defend their title next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
