"Zero Focks Given" are our Sunday Intermediate Volleyball League champs following a strong night in the playoffs. They had been dominant all season and were definitely one of the favorites to win it all come playoff time.
The night started out when "That's What She Set" won two straight games against "The Regulators." Next, "Dig It" took on "Team E," also winning two straight games.
Hoping to keep up their momentum, "That's What She Set" moved on to challenge the undefeated "Zero Focks Given." However, "Zero Focks Given" dominated--as usual -- winning game one and game two, sending "That's What She Set" home and securing their hard-earned seat in the championship game.
Next, "Green Eggs and Ham" battled it out against "Dig It" for a chance to contend against "Zero Focks Given" in the championship match. "Dig it" was unable to dig the hard hitting kills handed to them by "Green Eggs and Ham" and lost their opportunity to battle for the championship title. "Green Eggs and Ham" defeated "Dig it" in a two-game streak.
Fired up after their win, "Green Eggs and Ham" entered into the championship match ready to take on "Zero Focks Given." However, their winning streak came to an end when "Zero Focks Given" won two games back to back.
Congrats to "Zero Focks Given" on a great season, and it has to feel good to win on after losing in the championship last season. We look forward to seeing them defend their title next season!
