I'd Hit That Fights Off Top Seeds For Championship

'I'd Hit That' finished the season as the top dog after being somewhat of an underdog coming into these playoffs as the third of four seeds.

'I'd Hit That' previously faced their first round opponents, 'in the RAYdius', twice before and was swept both times 3-0. Oddly enough this was the first time all season they had a full team of six on the court!

These teams were very evenly matched on skill level causing long rallies and an unusually long match for this league. 'I'd Hit That' would take the first set while 'In the RAYdius' tied up it up to push things to a third and final set.

This time 'I'd Hit That' was not to be denied and fought to a 23-21 victory to win the game in somewhat of a David vs Goliath moment for them.

In the championship 'I'd Hit That' took on the top seeded 'Sets On the Beach'. The original matchup earlier in the season saw 'I'd Hit That' win 2-1.

'I'd Hit That', fresh off their vengeful victory, kept the hot streak alive.

Both teams possessed tall players that are strong hitters. There were a number of great rallies, although the games were dominated by strong serving resulting in many aces from both sides. The five serve rule came in handy here! Eventually, that great serving would lead to a strong 2-0 victory for 'I'd Hit That' making them the champions of the season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
