'Stay Puffed' was crowned champion of the Wednesday Ultimate league with a strong season from start to finish. They were led by their high-powered offense that saw them score the most points in the league.
When all was said and done 'Stay Puffed' managed a final record of 6-1-1, with the lone loss of the season coming in the final game when they already had the title locked up. The only other blemish on their near-perfect season was a tie to 'The Flying Eggplants' who finished as the runner up.
In the first game of the season 'Stay Puffed' started strong with a narrow 11-10 win over those same 'Flying Eggplants' and, perhaps unbeknownst to them, set the tone for the rest of the season.
From there they added four more straight wins and were at the top of the standings at 5-0. Afterwards came their draw to 'The Flying Eggplants', but 'Stay Puffed' rebounded well with a 10-7 win the next week to seal their spot as the best team in Wednesday Ultimate.
