Team ScheduleOur Late Summer Bowling league wrapped up last night with Team A winning the season championship by a sizable margin. Although the title had been clinched for several weeks, Team A was on a mission to complete the first perfect season in the history of Xoso bowling!
In order to accomplish this feat they would need to win both games of the night against the veteran Team B who were playing for pride and doing all they could to spoil the run on history.
The first game of the night went the way of our champions, Team A, and the perfect season now appeared inevitable. However, out of nowhere, Team B jumped out to a commanding lead in the final game of the season and perhaps Team A had fallen victim to counting their chickens before they hatched because they were taken to the woodshed in this game and saw their chance at history fall by the wayside in the last game of the last night of the season.
Nevertheless it was a brilliant season by Team A and we salute their success on the lanes. Our top male high game handicap of the season was Ben Amend and our top female handicap bowler was Lindsey Vass.
