3v3 Basketball - Mondays (Late Spring '25)

The Fair Jordans looked poise to make a run at glory coming into Thursday's matchup as the number 1 seed in the playoffs.

Last week, they had a much-needed bye to rest up and get focused for a semifinal matchup against the 4th seeded WTHelly after they played their way to the semis with a 3-0 win against Wasted Talent last week. Fair Jordans made short work of WTHelly practically outclassing them winning in dominating fashion 21-9 and 22-5 respectively giving them the opportunity to play on the biggest stage.

Entering the night, No Fox Given was the number 2 seed looking for their bid at gold after beating the number 7 seed "Team A" last week in dominating 3-0 fashion. They Started their Semifinal campaign against a tough opponent in "The Big 3." No Fox Given dropped the first game 21-13 giving themselves an uphill battle to stay alive, but they buckled down in games 2 and 3 to cruise to the finals and punch their ticket to the championship game.

This set up the matchup for Fair Jordans vs No Fox Given. In Game 1, No Fox Given stunned the Howe Park crowd with an upset win 21-13 capped off by impressive shooting from beyond the arc. In the second game, Fair Jordans had a dominating, bounceback win by crashing the offensive boards and getting second chance points in an easy 21-6 victory. Coming down to game 3, both teams were neck and neck throughout the first 10 minutes of the game with 7 lead changes throughout. The score was 17-18 with No Fox Given having an opportunity to put the game away, but Fair Jordans hit a clutch 3 to give themselves game point and the 20-17 lead. After lock-down defense on two straight possessions, they sealed the victory with a game-winning, turnaround 3 pointer to cement themselves in immortality and into the Xoso record books.
