Our Summer 2015 Wednesday Cornhole league wrapped up last night with the leagues top two teams squaring off in a winner take all best of 5 game championship match. The stakes were high as the winning team received a $50 Alley Katz tab and eternal glory.
"Get Lyfted" entered the match as the favorite amassing an impressive 7-1 regular season record. However the underdog "Wines and Steins" boasted the confidence of knowing that they were the lone team to defeat Get Lyfted in the regular season, and by a score of 4-0 nonetheless.
In the championship match it was evident that Wines and Steins had their opponents number as they continued to roll off impressive games and defeated their foes by a final of 3-0.
Congratulations to Wines and Steins and to all of the teams that competed in the Cornhole season.
