The Thursday Basketball League playoffs delivered two weeks of non-stop buckets, upsets, and big-time plays—but when the final buzzer sounded, one team stood taller than the rest. Say it loud: Chow Men are your 2025 Champions! And they didn’t just win—they put on a clinic from the opening tip to the final swish.

The action tipped off with the 7 through 10 seeds battling it out in the play-in round. Dream Team made quick work of Balls Deep in a clean 3-0 sweep, while the Oki Park All Stars showed grit and knocked off Team B 2-0 to move on.

Then came the quarterfinals, and the energy ramped all the way up. Top-seeded Chow Men faced off against the All Stars and held on in a tight 2-1 win. The Dream Beamz beamed bright and shut down the Half Court Ballers 2-0. But the biggest shakeups came when 7th-seeded Dream Team stunned 2nd-seeded The Other Guys with a clean 2-0 sweep, and 6th-seeded Team A knocked out the 3rd seed Bots in another 2-0 shocker.

The semifinals had serious Final Four vibes. Chow Men continued their run, playing smart, smooth basketball and taking down the Dream Beamz 2-0 with surgical precision. On the other side, Dream Team stayed hot, silencing Team A 2-0 and punching their ticket to the finals.

That set the stage: Chow Men vs. Dream Team—the #1 seed versus the playoff darlings. But the moment wasn’t too big for the Chow Men. With high basketball IQ, crisp ball movement, and relentless defense, they controlled the tempo from tip-off to final whistle, locking down a 2-0 win and sealing the championship.
