*ROCKLIN* Pickleball - Thursdays (Spring '25)

The Beginner Division I League playoffs wrapped up in classic pickleball fashion—tight matches, big upsets, and a championship game that went down to the wire. With the top three seeds earning a first-round bye, it all kicked off with an intense matchup between the Rally Cats and the Cinco Crew. Both teams came to play, but it was the Cinco Crew who edged it out 2-1 to move on to the semifinals.

From there, things only got more competitive. Top-seeded Pickle My Balls took on the hot-handed Cinco Crew and managed to hold them off with a 2-1 win. Meanwhile, the second-seeded Picklebacks squared off against the third-seeded Pickle Rapp in another razor-close battle. The Picklebacks kept their cool under pressure and came out on top, also winning 2-1.

That set up a finals clash between the league’s top two seeds: Pickle My Balls and Picklebacks. In what may have been the most exciting match of the season, both teams pushed each other to the limit. But when it mattered most, it was the Picklebacks who sealed the deal with a 2-1 victory, claiming the championship and finishing their playoff run on top.

Congratulations to the Picklebacks, your 2025 Beginner I League Champions! A team that proved their grit and grind every step of the way—this title was well-earned.
