Volleyball - Thursdays: Beginner at MSC (Winter '25)

In a thrilling showdown for the championship, “Goon Squad” delivered a dominant performance, sweeping “Hit Men” 2-0 in a best-of-three battle. “Goon Squad,” knocking out their semifinals opponents in only two sets, set out to continue this charge during the finals. These two teams faced each other in week 5, with “Hit Men” falling just short of a W. In the first set, “Goon Squad” led their team to victory with a large lead of 21-9. Not wanting to be taken down that easily, “Hit Men” tried to keep it close to the best of their ability, despite attempts to mount a comeback, “Goon Squad” closed it out with a score of 22-20, securing the title without needing a third set. With great energy and an undefeated passing record, “Goon Squad” proved why they were the team to beat! The championship title now belongs to them, as they celebrate a well-earned victory!
