“Volley Llamas” are the Wednesday Intermediate Pickleball Champions of the Summer ‘24 Season, after defeating “Super Smash Bros.” 2-1!
It was the playoffs for Wednesday Pickleballl last night and everyone was excited to see who would win it all! “Volley Llamas” and “Super Smash Bros.” were the last two teams remaining in the tournament and no one knew who was going to walk away as the champions of Wednesday Pickleball! “Volley Llamas” came out looking like they were playing in the US Open and dominated the first game taking an early lead in the championship. It looked like nothing could stop “Volley Llamas” from being crowned the champions but “Super Smash Bros.” were not going down without a fight. “Super Smash Bros.” changed up their game plan and were able to win the second game with amazing returns and great teamwork! It was tied up after two games between these two heavy weights, and it all came down to the third and final match. “Volley Llamas” took an early lead in the third game with some incredible serves but “Super Smash Bros.” came right back with some impressive rallies of their own. “Volley Llamas” were able to find a groove late in the third game and won the match and became the champions of Wednesday Intermediate Pickleball!
