3v3 Basketball - Thursdays (Summer '24)

“Team Q” are the Thursday Comp. Basketball Champions of the Summer ‘24 after defeating “Team Underdogs” 2-1!

It was the playoffs for Thursday Basketball last night and it did not disappoint! “Team Q” and “Team Underdogs’” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! The championship started off with “Team Underdogs” scoring the first point of the match. “Team Q” came right back and immediately made a three pointer to tie it up, but “Team Underdogs” kept making three after three and won the first game 21-18. After losing the first game, “Team Q” turned up the heat and took a commanding lead early in game two. It looked like “Team Q” were going to easily win the game but “Team Underdogs” wasn’t going down without a fight. “Team Underdogs” kept it close until the very end but “Team Q” came out on top and won the second game 21-17 and forced a third and final match. The championship deciding game started out as a nail biter with both teams matching each other point for point. It looked like the championship would come down to the final shot of the game but “Team Q” started to make great play after great play by playing smart basketball. “Team Underdogs” played their hearts out and kept it competitive all the way until the end but “Team Q” proved that they’re the best team in the league by winning the third game 21-18 and becoming the champions of Thursday Basketball!
