“The Rubberduckies” are the Monday Softball Champions of the Late Spring ‘24 season, after defeating “April 29, 1992” 7-5!
It was the playoffs for Monday softball last night and it did not disappoint! Both “The Rubberduckies” and “April 29, 1992” have an impressive offense so everyone was ready for the fireworks and that’s exactly what they got. “The Rubberduckies” were able to jump out to an early lead with some incredible base running and timely hitting in the first inning. “The Rubberduckies” were oozing with confidence after their offensive explosion in the first, but the “April 29, 1992” was ready for the challenge and was not afraid of an uphill battle. “April 29, 1992” was able to score a few runs of their own but “The Rubberduckies” could not be stopped at the plate. “April 29, 1992” played their hearts out but the “The Rubberduckies” powerful offense were just too much for “April 29, 1992” to handle. It was a championship game for the ages but “The Rubberduckies” was able to hold off “April 29, 1992” and won the championship 7-5!
Congratulations to “The Rubberduckies” on becoming the Monday Softball Champions of the Late Spring ‘24!
