Volleyball - Intermediate Sundays (Fall '23)

“ACE-Inhibitors” are the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “Can You Dig It…Sucka” 2-1!

“ACE-Inhibitors” came into the playoffs as the #4 seed and as one of the favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Can You Dig It…Sucka” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set was a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Can You Dig It…Sucka” was able to come together and force “ACE-Inhibitors” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-18. “Can You Dig It…Sucka” continued their dominance into the second match with a significant point gap, but “ACE-Inhibitors” were able to find their groove and came back and won the second set 21-14 forcing a 3rd and final game. No one knew who’d walk away as the champions of Sunday volleyball. All the momentum was on “ACE-Inhibitors” side, which carried into the final set. The final match started off as a nail-biter but “ACE-Inhibitors” quickly increased their lead early in the match with strong serves, teamwork, and consistent hitting. “ACE-Inhibitors” began to pull away and was able to win the championship after winning the third set 21-13
