Our 2014 Summer flag football league wrapped up last night with a championship game featuring the leagues top two teams, The Blue Balls versus White Guilt.
The Blue Balls had run rampant on the league all season finishing with a spectacular 7-0-1 record including 3 regular season wins over White Guilt, their opponents in the finals. White Guilt came into the game knowing they were facing an uphill battle, but they are an experienced team that is not lacking for talent and they were ready to lay it all on the line.
The Blue Balls featured a balanced attack in the finals that slowly but surely wore down White Guilt's defense. They found openings when they came available and capitalized on their opportunities winning a hard fought 19-7 victory and capturing the league championship.
Congratulations to The Blue Balls and to all of the teams that competed in the flag football season.
