Volleyball - Intermediate Sundays (Summer '23)

“Deez Nets” are the Sunday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Boo Cakes” 2-1!

“Deez Nets” came into the playoffs as the #2 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Boo Cakes” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Deez Nets” came out on fire in the first set, and did not allow “Boo Cakes” to get anything going. “Deez Nets” dominated the first game with great serves and amazing team work. They were able to win the first set 21-19 and it looked like they were unstoppable, but “Boo Cakes” was not going down without a fight. “Boo Cakes” came right back in the second set and performed bump, set and spike to perfection. They were able to claim victory in the second match and forced a third set. The third and final set was very close, but “Deez Nets” were too hot to handle. They took the lead early in the final match and they never looked back from there. “Deez Nets” won the third set 21-19 and became the champions of Sunday volleyball!
