As the world crowned Germany its soccer champion on Sunday, so too was XOSO crowning it's 2014 Late Spring Sunday dodgeball champion. The stage was set, as the top two teams entered the arena prepared for the battle that await. Sofa King Bananans and SFW had split their regular season clashes, and if those games were any indication, we were in store for a real treat in the rubber match in the season finale.
In the first 2 games, the teams appeared to be evenly matched. Both teams jostled to gain an advantage, but none was to be had. After two games the score was deadlocked 1-1. However, as the third game got underway Sofa King Bananas seemed to have another gear, or perhaps two gears, and they used both of them in full force winning 6 of the final 7 games, and being crowned dodgeball champs.
Congratulations to Sofa King Bananas and to all of the teams that competed in the dodgeball season.
