“B52’s” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Drinks at 8am” 2-0!
“B52’s” entered the playoffs as the 4th seed and as underdogs for the playoffs. They were confident in their abilities to be able to become the champions of the league, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Drinks at 8am” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “B52’s” were able to come together and force “Drinks at 8am” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-8. “B52’s” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Drinks at 8am” played their hearts out, but “B52’s” were just too hot to handle. “B52’s” went on to win the second match 21-12 and became the champions of Thursday Volleyball!
