“Unsolicited Kick Pics” are the Midtown Kickball Champions of the Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “VTS” 4-2!
The top two teams battled it out on Sunday night to see who would be crowned the champions of kickball, and it did not disappoint! “Unsolicited Kick Pics” lost to “VTS” in their previous match during the regular season so they were ready to exact their revenge, but “VTS” was not going down without a fight. The first few innings were a defensive battle with both teams only scoring one run. It was anyone's game, until “Unsolicited Kick Pics” scored two more clutch runs late in the game to give them the lead. “VTS” came right back and scored a run to make it close till the end, but “Unsolicited Kick Pics” defense stayed strong in the last few innings and prevented “VTS” from scoring another run. “Unsolicited Kick Pics” incredible teamwork and impressive defense gave them the edge they needed to win the championship 4-2!
